As a result of the continued development of West Wales Domestic Abuse Service Limited we are looking to recruit the following post:

The Service Manger will lead, coordinate and develop all aspects of WWDAS’ helpline and accommodation. The role includes working in the community and in our crisis, accommodation including our Refuges, move on and dispersed accommodation. We are seeking a dynamic, proactive individual to lead the service to include caretaking of buildings and to ensure that women, men, children and young people receive an individual high-quality trauma informed, strengths-based service when experiencing issues of VAWDASV.

The post holder will provide line management and support to staff including supervision and case management. The job involves working closely staff who support abused women and their children and men in crisis using our services.

As a member of the management team, the post holder will be required to participate with other managers in out of hours on call systems.

The role requires an exceptional individual who wants to make a difference. You will have experience of motivating staff as well as strong interpersonal skills. You must have knowledge of domestic abuse issues and experience of working in a refuge or residential setting.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Posts will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) and open to women only. (Exempt under the Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1)
